The 5th Marrakech E-Prix occurred at the Moulay El Hassan circuit on Saturday afternoon, July 2, when the temperature was well above 30°C. António Félix da Costa and Jean-Éric Vergne did well on the famous Moroccan circuit, even though it was very hot. They came in second and fourth, respectively (JEV). In qualifying this morning, the high-end single-seaters from the Parisian company had already shown how well they could perform. António Félix da Costa's DS E-Tense FE21 took pole position, and his teammate JEV came in third.

António Félix da Costa defended his pole position at the start, but he had trouble staying at the front of the pack for the rest of the race. António Félix da Costa ended up in second place at the Marrakesh E-Prix. This is the Portuguese's first podium of the year. He is back to his best.

Jean-Éric Vergne was in third place on the starting grid and could stay there at first. The Frenchman was able to fight for the lead until the very end of a very strategic race with many moves to pass other cars. With the 12 points for coming in fourth, JEV's total score went up to 128, and he stayed in second place in the Drivers' Championship.

After the stage in Morocco, DS Automobiles and its partner Techeetah have a solid 33-point record, which puts them in second place in the team standings.
